Earn a High School Credit… for Wilderness Adventure!
You could be eligible for senior-level high school creditS by completing an exciting Outward Bound course
If you are a Canadian student in Grade 10 or higher, you are eligible for a high school graduating level credit in Physical Education when you successfully complete one of our Adventure, Discovery, or Aboriginal Youth Asset Building Adventure courses. Students from British Columbia can receive four BC high school credits on any Outward Bound Adventure, Discovery or Youth Asset Building Adventure course. This is arranged through the British Columbia External Course program which recognizes learning acquired outside the regular classroom setting. For further information on the Physical Education High School Credit, please click here.
Students on these courses may also complete up to 10 hours of community service activity. This may be applied to their compulsory community involvement requirement for Ontario high school graduation.
Students outside Ontario or British Columbia may also be eligible for high school credits. Although this is at the discretion of your school, we will supply pertinent information in order to help in this process.
Outward Bound Canada is an inspected Independent School.
