Voted by Reader’s Digest as one of the world’s seven best small islands, Grand Manan Island, set in the centre of the majestic Bay of Fundy, is nature at its best. Spectacular views and rugged coastal trails, combined with an abundance of marine wildlife and migrating birds, make Grand Manan a haven for artists, photographers and adventurers alike.
This women's only Reach Beyond Expedition will see you and your fellow participants hike through old-growth forests and atop 100-metre cliffs, feasting on panoramic views of the mainland. If weather and tides cooperate, you'll try some sea kayaking too – and, with a bit of luck, perhaps spot a migrating whale or two! Evening meals will take place in the historic Swallowtail Lighthouse, a relaxing and atmospheric setting in which to reflect on the day’s adventure and prepare for the next!.
